Singlets?
Mark found an excellent site for custom technical-fabric running tshirts and singlets, Running Banana. We could set up our own graphic, and they would run about $30 each. Who would be interested in getting some for our IMFL group, so we can recognize each other easily at Panama City Beach? Respond in the comments, please!

Swimming with the sea-cows
Pirate Rackham posted this photo today, which a) cracked me up; and b) immediately made me think of myself in the upcoming Ironman Florida swim. Uh, that would be me on the right, heading out from Panama City Beach.

150 days
One hundred and fifty days. That's starting to sound like a frighteningly small number to me to go until we all toe the starting line at Ironman Florida.
I've just hired a child care helper for the summer to give myself another 6 or 8 training hours per week. Are you doing anything differently this summer in order to crank up your training volume?

Halfway there!
Right now we're just about halfway between January 1, 2006 and the final taper week before Ironman Florida - when all the deposits need to have cleared in the Bank of Ironman. 21 weeks done, about 21 weeks to go.
It's a good time for a spot-check.
How are YOU doing on your journey to Ironman Florida?
What are you doing now that's working well? What are you going to change in your approach to ensure that you finish in the manner that you are hoping for?
