Hurricanes in November?

Let's hope not in Florida! However:

"The Colorado State University team led by Dr. William Gray, a pioneer in forecasting storm probabilities, said it expected 17 named storms to form in the Atlantic basin during the six-month season starting in June. Nine of the storms will likely strengthen into hurricanes, with winds of at least 74 mph, the team said. . . ."

"But they also said there was less chance of major storms making landfall in the United States compared with 2005's record-breaking hurricane season."

What we need to avoid is a hurricane in October wiping out our race course... oh, yeah, and one on race weekend, too... hey, let's not think about hurricanes, let's JFT (T=Train)and assume the weather will be great.

If it's not, what we will need to do is everyone do their own IM somewhere, or maybe as many of us as possible get together somewhere and do one, or something. The $400 will be shot but there's no treason to let all that training go to waste.
Um, I meant "reason." Somehow that typo seems kind of significant, I just can't think how right now....
